Position Summary
The Shipping & Packaging Associate is responsible for ensuring that printed products are accurately packed,
labeled, and shipped in a timely and professional manner. This role plays a critical part in maintaining quality
standards and meeting customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Package printed materials according to job specs and brand requirements.
- Prepare shipping labels using shipping software (e.g., ShipStation, UPS WorldShip).
- Verify order accuracy and quality before shipping.
- Organize and stage outgoing shipments based on carrier pickup schedules.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing/shipping station.
- Communicate with team members and supervisors about order statuses and delays.
- Monitor stock levels of shipping materials (boxes, tape, labels) and report needs.
- Assist in occasional light assembly or hand-finishing tasks when needed.
Requirements
- High attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to stand, bend, lift (up to 50 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with shipping systems is a plus.
- Prior experience in a print shop or warehouse is preferred but not required.
