Position Title: Controller
Salary: $85,000

Position Summary:
The Controller will oversee financial operations, ensuring accurate accounting, financial reporting, and compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. The Controller will work independently under the general direction of the Finance Manager and collaborate with various departments to maintain financial integrity and support business objectives.

Essential Job Functions:

• Utilize accounting software for financial planning and reporting.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring timely and accurate financial data.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to support business operations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Conduct audits and provide recommendations for improving financial processes and controls.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare tax returns.
• Resolve accounting-related issues, including discrepancies and variances.

Experience and Skills Required:

• 2 to 4 years of experience in accounting or financial management.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently under the general direction of the Finance Manager.
• Professional attitude with initiative and sound judgment.
• Leadership, teamwork, and collaboration skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
