Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and safety-focused Railroad Technician / Maintenance Worker to join our track maintenance crew. This position is responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining railroad track infrastructure to ensure safe and efficient train operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on railroad tracks, ties, ballast, and related infrastructure

• Operate hand tools and heavy equipment such as tampers, tie inserters, and spike pullers

• Inspect track for safety hazards, structural wear, or damage

• Install new rail components and support the construction of track sections

• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and federal railroad regulations

• Maintain accurate records of work performed and inspections conducted

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions

• Comfortable with physical labor and long hours outdoors

• Must pass a background check and drug screening

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
