Press Brake Operator Job Summary:
Press brake operators set up and maintain the press brake machine to keep it in good working order. This includes changing the machine's oil and filters and degreasing various parts of the press brake. Press brake operators read and follow detailed blueprints and schematics.
Press Brake Operator Responsibilities:
Press brake operators look at blueprints or plans for the finished product, make adjustments to the machine to control speed, material feed and path of the cut, as well as make sure the machines are set up properly, working well, and producing quality product.
