The Trust Administrator serves as a vital member of the Medford trust team, supporting the daily administration of trust accounts. This role involves direct client communication, coordination with internal staff, and administrative responsibilities that contribute to efficient and effective trust management. The Trust Administrator will report to and be mentored by a Trust Officer and may occasionally travel as needed. The salary range is $21.70-$32.44!
Education:
College degree preferred
High school diploma or equivalent professional experience required
Experience:
Minimum of five years of relevant experience in trust administration or a related field such as legal, project management, banking, or financial planning
Serve as project manager for the administration of trust accounts
Respond professionally and promptly to inquiries from potential and current clients
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among clients, beneficiaries, and team members
Coordinate meetings and follow-ups with Trust Officers as necessary
Conduct due diligence and research on trust matters, seeking support as needed
Represent the bank in the execution of asset transactions, registrations, and transfers
Support Trust Officers in marketing and business development initiatives
Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service and compliance with regulations
Perform additional duties as assigned to support department and client needs
Reports directly to the Director and Trust Officers
Receives mentorship from assigned Trust Officer
Works closely with internal teams and communicates effectively with clients and beneficiaries
Must be detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of handling sensitive information
Required to sit for extended periods and occasionally travel between departments or locations
Expected to manage tasks in a fast-paced, professional office environment
Uses phone, email, and in-person meetings to interact with clients and team members
Professional dress and demeanor are required
Must complete all required training courses with satisfactory performance
Self-motivated and collaborative team player
Strong customer service orientation
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information
Familiarity with trust, agency, and probate documentation and terminology
Understanding of tax and legal concepts related to trust administration
Accurate typing skills (30+ WPM)
Comfortable using office equipment such as scanners and photocopiers
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. as needed
