Schedule: Day Shift | Monday – Friday | Start Time Between 5:00 AM – 7:00 AM
Pay: $22.50 per hour

Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Product Configuration Specialist to join our team in Gresham. In this full-time, direct hire role, you will work closely with our Canvas software platform to create detailed drawings and layouts used in the construction of custom walk-in coolers, freezers, and related components. This role demands strong drafting and design skills, mathematical accuracy, and a solid understanding of structural design principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate customer sketches and job quote data into accurate, detailed drawings

• Create, revise, and update preliminary and final submittal drawings for customer approval

• Design detailed drawings for internal research and development projects

• Ensure all drawings meet customer specifications and industry standards

• Organize and store drawing files using the company’s database system

• Collaborate with Estimation, Sales, Factory Technical Support, and Manufacturing teams on new and revised designs

• Work both independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and project goals

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a design or drafting role

• Strong mathematical and spatial reasoning skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Ability to interpret and produce technical drawings and layouts

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree or higher in Drafting, Design, or a related field

• Experience in the walk-in cooler/freezer industry

• Knowledge of structural steel details, prefabrication, and/or custom fabrication processes

• Familiarity with CAD software and digital drawing platforms

• Understanding of structural properties and design principles
