Family Law Paralegal

 

Job Summary

 

We are recruiting a dedicated Paralegal to join a busy, fast-paced Family Law Firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong legal research background and the ability to prepare and review legal documents with accuracy and efficiency. This role requires excellent multitasking skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to take direction well without becoming overwhelmed under pressure. The firm is looking for someone dependable, and detail oriented. 

 

Location: Milton Fl.

 

Pay: $17.00+ per hour DOE

 

Schedule: Monday- Friday 8am-5pm

Key Responsibilities:  

 

• Research, prepare, and review legal information pertaining to court cases, judicial decisions, appropriate laws, legal articles, and other materials relevant to court cases.

• Draft contracts, leases, agreements, and other documents.

• Gather records, files, and written reports. Retain files and prepared legal documents.

• Interview potential witnesses, draft arguments and statements, and prepare affidavits.

• Write motions, statements, and pleadings.

• Respond to interrogations and coordinate counsel requests.

• Assist attorneys with discovery, trial preparation, hearing, and closing.
