Shipping Clerk

Salary: $18.00 - $24.00

Our client, a label manufacturing company in Fishers, IN, has asked us to help them find a Shipping Clerk. In this role, you will use Fedex “Ship Manager” software and UPS “World Ship” software to confirm shipping and generate BOL’s and shipping labels. Also, you will have 3PL experience to book shipments with various LTL and Courier trucking companies.

 

Pay/Salary, Hours/Shift, and Benefits:

• Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour, depending on experience. This is an evaluation hire opportunity. Assuming you and our client are a good fit, you can be hired permanently in 3-4 months!
• Hours: Full-time position, 1st shift, 7:30am - 4:00pm

What will you do as a Shipping Clerk?

• Create packing slips and shipping materials using UPS “World Ship” and FedEx “Ship Manager”
• Book shipments with various LTL and courier trucking companies
• Support the shipping manager daily.
• Occasionally, help pick/pull and prepare orders for shipment

What qualifications will you have as a Shipping Clerk?

• Experience with FedEx “Ship Manager” software and UPS “World Ship” software is required.
• Experience with 3PL to book shipments with various LTL and Courier trucking companies is required.
• Willingness to manually pick/pull items, some by hand, and load and move pallets with pallet jacks is required.
• Forklift experience is helpful.
• Ability to interact daily with customers, sales, production, and vendors.
