Our client in the Fremont area is looking for a foreman for their fabrication shop!

 

Pay: $25+/hr

Shift: 1st

 

Summary:

 

Ideal candidates will have proven experience in supervision, welding, and fabrication. Candidates will be expected to go on the floor and help when needed, as well as check on employees and ensure work is getting completed in a timely and efficient manner.

 

Job duties:

• Must be able to weld.
• Must be able to fabricate
• Check that employees are staying in task and helping where needed
• Answer and resolve any question employees may have

 

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a supervisor position
• Able to pass a weld test
• Able to read blueprints and cut lists
• Able to weld and fabricate
• Have own tools and safety equipment (welding visor, steel toe shoes, etc.)
• Relevant certifications are preferred, but not required
