Salary: $22-25/hr pending experience
General Duties• Produce metal forms and objects• Reconstruct damaged articles of various metals and alloys• Use hand tools, fixtures, jigs, and clamps for small welding jobs• Cut metal using a torch• Follow diagrams or sketches• Weld and fuse various metals to withstand strength demands while avoiding distortion• Regulate equipment for the work performed• Use the following welding processes that may include shielded metal arc, flux-cored arc, gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc, metal inert gas, gas shielded flux metal cored, and metal active gas methods
