CNC Machinist Responsibilities May Include:

• Setting up CNC machines, including loading programs, installing tooling, and making necessary adjustments.
• Operating CNC mills and/or lathes to machine parts according to blueprints and specifications.
• Monitoring machine operation to detect malfunctions or deviations and making necessary adjustments.
• Inspecting finished parts using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
• Performing routine maintenance on CNC machines, including cleaning and lubricating.
• Troubleshooting machine issues and making minor repairs.
• Ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
• Following all safety procedures and guidelines.

CNC Machinist Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist.
• Strong understanding of machining principles, techniques, and materials.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with setting up and operating CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Familiarity with various CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code).
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in machining is a plus.  
• Must have reliable transportation to our facility in Wentzville, Missouri.
