Job Summary:
We are currently hiring an experienced mechanic for our muffler shop with a strong background in exhaust system repair and welding. This role involves diagnosing exhaust issues, performing repairs and replacements, and fabricating custom exhaust components. The ideal candidate is skilled in welding and takes pride in quality workmanship and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair exhaust system issues on a variety of vehicles

• Install mufflers, catalytic converters, exhaust pipes, and related components

• Perform custom exhaust fabrication using MIG and/or TIG welding

• Inspect vehicles for additional mechanical concerns and provide repair recommendations

• Maintain accurate records of work performed

• Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Interact professionally with customers as needed

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience working in a muffler shop or similar setting

• Proficiency in MIG and/or TIG welding

• Knowledge of various exhaust system types and configurations

• Ability to use lifts, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively

• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce clean welds

• Valid driver’s license

• Must have own basic tools (shop tools and equipment provided)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Welding certification

• Experience with custom or performance exhaust systems

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
