Shift A - Utility Worker

Located in Sulphur Springs, TX

Salary: $18/hr

Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a Shift A - Utility Worker position for a local Sulphur Springs, Tx company! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas that have full-time, part-time and temporary. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!

In this role, you will:

• Perform recycling duties and remove trash throughout the facility
• Support sanitation and changeover processes
• Clean and sanitize bottling coolers and assist with master sanitation
• Provide break relief for team members as needed
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisors
• Follow all safety procedures and operate safely at all times
• Maintain quality standards and support production goals
• Assist the team in meeting or exceeding productivity targets
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and wear proper PPE
• Work closely with team members in a fast-paced environment

We like to hear from candidates with the following:

• Ability to stand for long periods and work 12-hour shifts
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures (hot and cold environments)
• Ability to walk, climb stairs, and perform physical tasks such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
• Frequent use of hands and arms for handling, reaching, and lifting
• Ability to routinely lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
• Strong awareness of safety around moving mechanical parts such as conveyors, gears, and sprockets
• Ability to work in wet, humid, and high-temperature conditions
• Strong teamwork skills and reliable attendance
