Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Sheeter Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on experience operating sheeting equipment in a print or packaging environment. The Sheeter Operator will be responsible for setting up, running, and maintaining sheeting machines to cut rolls of paper or other materials into specific sheet sizes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate sheeter machines according to job specifications and production schedules.

• Adjust speed, feed, tension, and cutting parameters for different materials and sheet sizes.

• Monitor product quality throughout runs, inspecting for cut accuracy, alignment, and defects.

• Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues to minimize downtime and maintain output standards.

• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of sheeting equipment to ensure optimal performance.

• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Document production output, machine settings, and maintenance records.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience operating sheeter machinery in a manufacturing or print environment.

• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret job tickets, schematics, and measurements.

• Familiarity with various substrates such as paperboard, plastic, or coated materials.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

• Attention to detail and a strong focus on quality control.
