Express Employment of Long Beach is hiring Warehouse / Assembly personnel for growing local company.  Full time opportunity with potential for permanent hire with the company.  

POSITION – Warehouse / Assembly 
LOCATION: Long Beach, CA 
RATE: $20/hr.
HOURS: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm 

Warehouse / Assembly Responsibilities:

• Perform warehouse work related to receipt, shipment, storage, distribution and delivery of products, parts, and materials.
• Assembly of commercial hoses, clamping connections onto hoses
• Load, unload, move and store items according to delivery, routing documents or instructions.
• Use Styrofoam, paper, plastic, or other materials to pack containers.
• Yard organization and clean up. 
• May use any or all of the following equipment: shelving, racks, bins, pallets, carts, labeling equipment, conveyors, computers, barcode scanning equipment, telephone systems, mail sorters and openers, addressing/labeling equipment, and pneumatic tubes.

 Warehouse / Assembly Qualifications:

• 1 year experience in a warehouse or production based atmosphere
• Good communication skills
• Hard worker
• Must be a team player - work on a team of 4 workers
• Task oriented
• Must know how to follow instructions
• Punctuality is a MUST!!!! 

Skills Required:

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs. on regular basis
• Strong multitasking abilities
• Works well under pressure
• Ability to adapt to the needs of the job
• Ability to stand, bend, stretch, and sit for long periods of time
• Package and palletize
• Must speak English
• Need safety shoes (steel toe)
