Experienced Stand-Up Forklift Operator

Job Overview

We are seeking skilled Stand-Up Lift Truck Operators to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this physically active role, you will operate Crown 5500 series lift trucks to support production operations, manage inventory, and fulfill customer orders. This position is critical to maintaining efficient workflow in our fast-paced warehouse environment.

Available Shifts

1st Shift - 7a to 4p
2nd Shift - 4p to 2:30 a
3rd Shift - 10:30p to 7a
$16.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

Operate stand-up lift trucks safely and efficiently, primarily Crown 5500 series equipment
Pull product and move skids throughout the warehouse facility
Supply production lines with necessary materials to maintain optimal workflow
Fulfill customer orders by accurately retrieving and preparing products for shipment
Load and unload trucks with finished products and incoming materials
Manually stack and organize skids as required by specific customer orders
Lift up to 50 pounds regularly as part of daily job functions
Utilize warehouse management system to track orders and maintain accurate inventory records
Perform basic equipment inspections and maintenance checks

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years experience operating stand-up forklifts in a warehouse environment
Crown 5500 series lift truck operating experience
Certification or formal training in powered industrial truck operation
Experience in production or manufacturing environments
Knowledge of inventory management systems and practices
Previous shipping/receiving experience

Physical Requirements

This position requires regular physical activity including but not limited to:

Standing and walking for extended periods
Operating stand-up lift equipment throughout shift
Frequent bending, twisting, and reaching
Manual handling and stacking of materials weighing up to 50 pounds
Working in various warehouse conditions
