Accounts Payable Associate needed for local company!

Position Summary:
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing the company’s outgoing payments and ensuring that all invoices are processed accurately and on time. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, verify, and process invoices and expense reports
• Match purchase orders with invoices and resolve discrepancies
• Ensure timely payments to vendors and suppliers
• Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions
• Reconcile vendor statements and respond to inquiries
• Assist with month-end closing and reporting
• Support audits by providing documentation and reports as needed
• Collaborate with procurement and other departments to ensure smooth workflow

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in accounts payable or general accounting
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office application

Pay $22-26/hr

Day time hours - Monday - Friday
