Express Employment Professional is seeking an experienced and dedicated Systems Administrator to support and enhance IT operations for a local client in Vero Beach, FL. This role involves managing, configuring, and maintaining the infrastructure and services that power our organization. The ideal candidate is technically skilled, detail-oriented, and has strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Collaborate with IT staff to resolve helpdesk tickets and provide general end-user support.
Configure, deploy, and manage Cisco network hardware.
Administer Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
Perform Windows Endpoint Management.
Monitor and manage existing vulnerability and intrusion detection systems.
Manage Office 365, Azure, and Entra ID platforms.
Oversee AWS environments.
Administer various SaaS products.
Manage and support VoIP phone systems.
Maintain VMware ESXi hosts and supporting infrastructure (Veeam backups, Dell/EMC SAN, etc.).
Document infrastructure, changes, and IT procedures.
Represent the IT department professionally and respectfully across the organization.
Support company engineers and technicians in troubleshooting and configuration efforts.
Engage in ongoing professional development through training and certification.
Participate in various IT projects as assigned.
Pull and terminate network cabling as needed.
Provide support for conference room technologies.
Perform other duties as assigned, including occasional after-hours support.
5+ years of experience managing and maintaining a broad range of IT systems, including:
IP networks
Windows servers and Active Directory
Windows client environments
Cloud services and SaaS products
Ticketing and configuration management platforms
Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Communicate technical concepts clearly and appropriately to a range of users.
Maintain a patient, customer-oriented approach when interacting with team members.
Make independent decisions on processes, schedules, and troubleshooting when existing guidelines are insufficient.
Work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Familiarity with common office hardware and software.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Scripting or IT automation experience preferred.
Experience with Linux, specifically Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), is a plus.
CCNA certification (or equivalent experience/certification).
High School Diploma required; additional education or certifications are a plus.
Valid Florida Driver’s License.
Ability to lift/carry 15–30 lbs. as needed.
Willingness to travel occasionally to other office locations.
Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
