Mover / Driver - Full Time

Located in Noblesville, IN

Salary: $17.00

Our client, a Senior Moving Company helping elderly clients in Noblesville, IN has asked us to help them find a compassionate Mover/Driver to join their team.  As a Mover/Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring comfort and peace of mind during the moving process.

 

Hours: Monday-Friday; 8 hours per day. Hours flex based on job schedule.

 

Pay: STARTING AT $17/hour with increase upon completion of probationary period.

 

What will you be doing as a Mover/Driver?

• Help clients pack their belongings carefully and efficiently.
• Handle fragile items with care, ensuring they are properly wrapped and secured.
• Safely load clients’ belongings onto the moving truck.
• Unload items at the destination, placing them in the designated rooms.
• Drive box trucks
• Maintain open communication with clients throughout the moving process.
• Address any concerns or questions they may have.
• Show empathy and patience when working with senior citizens.
• Understand that moving can be emotionally challenging for them.

What experience will you have as a Mover/Driver? 

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clean driving record and previous delivery driving experience
• Previous experience in moving or related fields is a plus.
• Be physically fit and able to lift heavy items (furniture, boxes, etc.).
• Use proper lifting techniques to prevent injuries.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Reliable and punctual.
