Facilities Operator - Loadout Support

Job Title : Facilities Loadout Support 

 

Job overview : Performs all duties preparatory to the loading of railcars and trucks. Maintains the terminal for the safe and efficient distribution of bulk products. Assists terminal operators, pay-loader operators and maintenance operators with various duties and responsibilities, as directed by the Facility Manager.

 

Responsibilities: 

• Operate pay-loader for efficient material handling.
• Inspect all railcars for cleanliness and reports to Control Room Operator on their condition and fitness for loading
• Work with warehouse and pay-loader operators.
• Inspect railcars and trucks for cleanliness, reporting issues to Control Room.
• Ensure safe loading with truck drivers.
• Participate in safety training.
• Follow the Stockton Dry facility HESQ manual.
• Assist with vessel discharges as directed.
• Maintain warehouse, terminal, and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma required.
• Pay-loader/front-end loader experience
• Terminal experience a plus.
• Ability to obtain First Aid, CPR, Bloodborne Pathogen, AED certification.
• Eligible for TWIC

Essential Job Functions: 

The position holder must be able to:

• Operate pay-loader and assist terminal and maintenance operators.
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs and work with heavy materials (25-50 lbs).
• Work in confined spaces and at heights (up to 150 feet).
• Stand for long periods, bending, kneeling, and wearing PPE, including fall protection and respiratory gear.
• Work in extreme temperatures, outdoors and indoors.
• Flexibility to work overtime or adjusted hours as needed.
