Job Overview
Express Employment has partnered with a company in the West Des Moines area that is seeking an Skilled Construction Craftsman . The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various craftsmanship techniques and demonstrate a passion for creating high-quality work.

Duties

• Execute various craftsmanship tasks including woodworking, metalworking, or masonry based on project specifications.
• Interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards.
• Conduct regular maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times while working on-site.
• Provide creative input during the design phase of projects to enhance functionality and aesthetics.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Artisan or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of craftsmanship techniques and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as blueprints and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks as required.
• A valid driver's license may be required depending on job location.
