Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join a manufacturing team specializing in metal cutting and fabrication. This position is responsible for operating production equipment, producing materials to specification, maintaining quality standards, and supporting safe and efficient manufacturing operations.

Job Duties

• Operate slitting, cut-to-length, and blanking equipment according to production requirements
• Cut and shape metal materials to required dimensions and specifications
• Monitor production quality and verify measurements throughout the manufacturing process
• Convert and work with measurements including decimals, fractions, and standard units
• Read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and production instructions
• Perform equipment inspections and basic maintenance tasks as required
• Maintain production flow while meeting quality and productivity expectations
• Follow all company safety procedures and operational guidelines
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience operating metal cutting, fabrication, slitting, cut-to-length, or blanking machinery preferred
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong mathematical skills, including converting measurements and working with fractions and decimals
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Commitment to workplace safety

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
• Ability to lift, move, and handle metal materials as required
• Frequent bending, reaching, and material handling activities
• Ability to safely work around manufacturing equipment and machinery
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

Schedule

• Full-time position
• First Shift
• Monday through Thursday
• Hours: 5:30 AM to 1:45 PM
