Location: Brighton
1st Shift: 6am - 4:30pm Monday-Thursday (overtime may be required on Friday). Friday 6am - 2:30pm.
2nd shift: 5pm - 3:30am Monday - Thursday (overtime may be required on Friday). Friday 5pm - 1:30am

Pay: $16.00-$16.75/hr

Are you detail-oriented, reliable, and ready to work in a hands-on manufacturing environment? We're looking for Machine Operators and Quality Inspectors to join our growing team. These roles are essential to our precision manufacturing process, helping ensure our parts meet the highest quality standards.

Position 1: Machine Operator

Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC machines and load stock materials.
• Inspect parts to ensure they meet sample part requirements.
• Perform periodic machine cleaning and maintenance.
• Remove metal chips from machines and bins.
• Empty chip bins and sweep around machines at the end of each shift.
• Monitor coolant and oil levels; maintain daily records.
• Clean any oil spills immediately to prevent slip hazards.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Experience with CNC machines preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
• Ability to lift and move materials safely.
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
• Willingness to learn and follow processes consistently.

Position 2: Quality Inspectors

Responsibilities:

• Use hand tools (files, scrapers, sandpaper, deburring knives) to remove burrs and sharp edges from machined parts.
• Inspect parts for imperfections and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Follow detailed instructions and quality control guidelines.
• Handle delicate parts carefully to avoid damage.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Wear required safety gear and adhere to safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work with small parts for extended periods.
• Experience in deburring or manufacturing is a plus, but not required.

Work Environment:

• Industrial shop floor setting.
• Combination of standing and sitting throughout the shift.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves and safety glasses.
