Lathe Operator

Located in Parsippany , NJ

Salary: $18- $20

We are looking for a hands-on individual with strong mechanical aptitude to join our team in a well-lit, clean, and well-ventilated facility. This position involves the manual production of industrial machine belts and related components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure and cut rubber materials using precise decimal and fractional measurements

• Apply glue and grind components as needed

• Operate conventional lathes

• Read and interpret basic blueprints

• Follow safety and cleanliness standards in a production environment

Requirements:

• Comfortable working with decimals, fractions, and measuring tools like calipers

• Must speak English at a conversational level (minimum 8/10)

• Prior experience in carpentry, flooring installation, or similar trades is a plus

• Strong attendance and reliability are essential
