Express Employment Professionals are seeking highly motivated candidate for full-time permanent position as Saw/Waterjet Operator in Hyde Park, UT. You will be responsible to keep the saw running at capacity while keeping parts in tolerance. Work efficiently to get parts cut and delivered to other departments to meet fabrication schedules.

*Wage: $16.00- $18.00/hour!

*Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Responsibilities and Duties for Sa/Waterjet Operator:

• Load and unload material and parts from Saw
• Operate and tend saw to cut stock and to adjust machine speed and tension
• Detect equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance cutting, reporting to management
• Positions and clamps stock on table, conveyor, or rollers
• Stage parts for next area of production with appropriate paperwork
• Visually inspect parts and cuts for defects
• Check and replenish fluid for lubrication system
• Keep area clean and organized
• Safely move and handle large, heavy metal sheet, plate and parts using proper equipment
• Use Calipers, squares, rulers, and other measuring devices to maintain specifications and tolerances
• Ensure production rates are met or exceeded

Qualifications and Skills for Saw/Waterjet Operator:

• Related or relevant experience required
• Strong commitment to safety
• Basic math skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to lead others in company expectation, protocol, and procedures
• Ability to work on a team
• Have a professional attitude
• Basic mechanical skills such as reading a tape measure
• Basic blueprint reading
• Ability to work to time and production schedules
• Carry weight, lift Move, Transport, Position, Put, Install, Remove Frequently moves product weighing up to 100 pounds for various needs
• Constantly works in outdoor weather conditions
