Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, conducting regular counts, and assisting with the overall management of inventory within the warehouse. This role plays a key part in ensuring that stock levels are maintained, orders are processed efficiently, and discrepancies are identified and addressed in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies
• Track inventory levels and update records in the warehouse management system (WMS)
• Organize and store inventory in designated areas to maximize space and efficiency
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders or packing slips
• Label, tag, and barcode products as required
• Assist with preparing and processing orders for shipping
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies by conducting research and audits
• Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse teams to ensure adequate stock levels
• Maintain clean and organized inventory storage areas
• Prepare inventory reports for management and make recommendations for restocking or adjusting stock levels
• Assist in the development of inventory control procedures and best practices

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in inventory management or warehouse operations preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic computer skills (proficiency with MS Office or WMS systems)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with inventory management software or WMS
• Forklift certification (if applicable)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Work Environment:

• Warehouse or distribution center environment
• Exposure to warehouse equipment, machinery, and varying temperatures
• Use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as required

 

Pay Rate- $17.00
