Class A CDL/Production Operator with Tanker Endorsement (Local Drives)

Location: Rigby, Idaho

Pay Rate: $25.00/hr

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced CDL Class A Driver with a Tanker Endorsement to join our team. This hybrid position combines local driving responsibilities with distillery operations, ensuring both the safe transportation of goods and the efficient production of high-quality products. ResponsibilitiesCDL Driver Duties:

• Safely operate a CDL Class A vehicle with a tanker to transport liquids and materials.
• Perform local drives only, ensuring timely deliveries to designated locations.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and logs.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs for loading and unloading.

Distillery Operator Duties:

• Operate and monitor distillation equipment to produce high-quality products.
• Measure, mix, and handle raw materials used in the distillation process.
• Monitor and adjust temperatures, pressures, and flow rates to optimize production.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of distillation equipment.
• Record production data and ensure proper documentation of batches.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during all production activities.
• Assist with packaging and labeling finished products as needed.

Qualifications

CDL Driver Requirements:

• Valid CDL Class A driver’s license with a Tanker Endorsement.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Previous experience in a similar driving role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Local driving experience is a plus.

Distillery Operator Requirements:

• Previous experience in distillery operations, food production, or a similar manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for operating and troubleshooting equipment.
• Knowledge of distillation processes and safety practices is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and production guidelines.

General Requirements:

• Good communication and time management skills.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
