Salary: $14/hr

As part of the Event Set-Up and Take-Down Crew, you will be responsible for transforming the arena for various events, from setting up stages, seating, and equipment for concerts, to converting the venue from a hockey rink to a concert venue. This is a fast-paced, physical job that requires attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and take down staging, seating, lighting, sound equipment, and other event materials
• Convert the hockey arena into a concert or event venue and vice versa
• Operate basic tools and equipment to assemble and disassemble event setups
• Work with event coordinators and supervisors to ensure timely completion of all tasks
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures during set-up and take-down
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area before, during, and after events
• Assist with loading and unloading of trucks with equipment and materials
• Perform other duties as assigned to support event operations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in event set-up, general labor, or a related field preferred but not required
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work well under pressure
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions
• Reliable transportation to and from the venue
• Knowledge of basic tools and equipment operation is a plus
