We are seeking friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Retail Associates to support daily operations in a dynamic retail environment offering packing supplies, shipping services, and truck rentals. This role involves assisting customers with product selection, processing shipments, coordinating vehicle rentals, and maintaining a clean, organized store. Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales

  • Greet customers and provide knowledgeable assistance with packing, shipping, and rental needs
  • Recommend appropriate packaging materials and services based on customer requirements
  • Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems
  • Upsell products and services to enhance customer experience

Packing & Shipping

  • Prepare packages for shipment, including boxing, labeling, and weighing
  • Operate shipping systems (FedEx, UPS, USPS, etc.) to generate labels and track shipments
  • Ensure compliance with carrier guidelines and safety regulations

Truck Rentals

  • Assist customers with truck rental reservations, check-ins, and returns
  • Verify driver’s license and rental eligibility
  • Inspect vehicles before and after rental for damage and cleanliness
  • Explain rental terms, insurance options, and usage guidelines

Store Operations

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked retail environment
  • Receive and stock inventory, including packing supplies and rental equipment
  • Perform opening and closing procedures as assigned
  • Report equipment issues or customer concerns to management promptly

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of retail, customer service, or logistics experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic math and computer proficiency
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (required for truck rental duties)
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with shipping software and POS systems
  • Familiarity with truck rental platforms and procedures
  • Bilingual is a plus, but not required
  • Forklift or equipment handling experience is a bonus
