Join our growing team as a skilled Industrial Welder!We are actively hiring for a highly experienced Industrial Welder with strong proficiency in wire welding processes, blueprint reading, and fabrication layout. This full-time role is ideal for welders capable of working in all positions and passing a 6G pipe welding test. Perform structural and pipe welding using GMAW (MIG), FCAW (Flux Core), and SAW (Submerged Arc) methods.
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and weld symbols accurately for layout and fabrication.
Conduct welding in all positions (2G, 3G, 5G, 6G) to meet project and code requirements.
Setup, monitor, and operate welding machines according to WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications).
Conduct visual inspections and make weld corrections with minimal supervision.
Safely operate grinders, drill presses, hammers, metalworking tools, and overhead cranes.
Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and ensure consistent use of PPE (gloves, safety glasses, respirators, etc.).
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area.
Ensure all welds meet quality assurance standards, including pulsed MIG welding requirements.
Must pass a 6G pipe welding test on a 2 7/8” super coupon.
Open root with max 1/8” gap.
Root with GMAW-S (downhill); hot pass feathered using FCAW.
FCAW 1/16” wire used from hot pass through final cap (6G uphill position).
Final cap with stringer beads only—no weaving; controlled oscillation required.
3+ years of industrial welding experience in a heavy fabrication or structural environment.
Proficiency in GMAW, FCAW, SAW, and pulsed MIG welding.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and layout plans.
Must lift up to 50 lbs and tolerate physically demanding conditions.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify/correct weld defects.
Must pass drug screening and background check.
Familiarity with WPS parameters and welding safety standards.
Experience with pipe welding, vessel fabrication, and industrial layout.
Safety-first mindset and proven reliability in team-based settings.
