Pipe Fitter

Located in Waco, TX

Salary: $18/hr.

Are you an experienced Pipe Fitter / Tack Welder looking for a stable, long-term opportunity in a fast-paced industrial setting? We are hiring for both 1st and 2nd shifts, with 10-hour workdays Monday through Saturday (Friday shifts end at 3:30 PM). Join our growing team and play a key role in assembling, laying out, and preparing complex piping systems for high-performance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics for piping layout and fabrication.

• Measure, cut, grind, and fit pipe sections with precision and accuracy.

• Tack weld pipe components securely in place before final welding procedures.

• Assemble pipe systems using clamps, braces, and tools in accordance with safety and quality standards.

• Inspect and verify accuracy of piping systems against specifications.

• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently for all fitting and welding tasks.

• Keep the work area clean, organized, and hazard-free.

• Maintain and store equipment properly; report any mechanical issues immediately.

• Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure job completion and adherence to project timelines.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter and/or Tack Welder in an industrial, fabrication, or structural steel environment.

• Strong knowledge of pipe-fitting tools, materials, and techniques.

• Ability to read and apply technical schematics and piping diagrams.

• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.

• Safety-conscious with strong communication and organizational skills.

Job Schedule:

• Monday–Saturday

• 10-hour shifts

• Friday shifts end at 3:30 PM

• 1st and 2nd shifts available
