We are currently hiring Toll Booth Operators! Candidates must be reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling cash and card transactions. Flexibility is essential — operators must be open to varying schedules and willing to work weekends and holidays as needed. If you enjoy working independently and providing great customer service, we’d love to hear from you! 

Responsibilities:

  • Collect tolls from drivers in cash, card, or electronic payments.
  • Issue receipts for toll payments upon request.
  • Provide change accurately and efficiently when needed.
  • Answer driver questions regarding directions, toll rates, and procedures.
  • Operate booth equipment, such as cash registers, intercoms, and ticket dispensers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized booth throughout the shift.
  • Follow safety and security procedures to ensure a safe environment for drivers and coworkers.
  • Communicate with supervisors regarding operational issues or customer concerns.
  • Stay alert and attentive during long periods of repetitive work or slower traffic times.

Schedule and Pay:

  • You must be open to working any of these time frames, and must be available 7 days a week. You will have 1 weekend off a month, and working holidays is required.
    • 5:00am-1:00pm
    • 6:00am-2:00pm
    • 7:00am-3:00pm
    • 8:00am-4:00pm

                            OR

    • 1:00pm-9:00pm
    • 2:00pm-10:00pm
    • 3:00pm-11:00pm
    • 4:00pm-12:00am
  • $17.00/hr

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in cashiering and customer service
  • Steel-toed boots or hiking boots that go above the ankle must be worn at all times 
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Drug test
  • Background check 
  • Skills testing
