Supervisor

Located in Starkville, MS, MS

Salary: $22+

Position: Production Supervisor        Pay: $22+      Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure assignment and management of human resources as need to execute the daily production schedule.
• Responsible for ensuring the proper staging of materials to ensure 60% machine utilization during shift.
• Input production data and generate reports as required - reports include downtime, performance, utilizations, attendance etcetera.
•  Responsible for conducting quality reviews of product and packaging before staging on Ready line for shipment.
• Coordinate with Scheduler to ensure the productions runs are completed a scheduled, communicate any issues via email.
• Assist Operations Manager as required
• Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures, best manufacturing practices, and safety standards.

Description of position:

• The 2nd Shift Production Supervisor is responsible for managing the flow information, time management of employees assigned, Executing production schedule,  production reporting. 

Skills:

• Ability to work collectively in a team-oriented environment, and able to learn and share knowledge among team members
• Communication Skills:  must communicate effectively with production supervisors and operators on a regular basis
• Critical-Thinking

Experience Required: 

• 3-5 years in a manufacturing maintenance and supervision.
• Experience working in the steel service center environment.
• Strong Project Planning skills required.

Education

GED or High School Diploma
