Paving Foreman

Located in Bridgewater, NJ

Salary: 100,000 - 125,000/yr

We are looking for a Paving Foreman for an immediate hire opportunity in Bridgewater, NJ! A well established central New Jersey paving company is seeking an experienced paving foreman to supervise and coordinate daily activities of an asphalt paving crew. Schedule:

• 6:30am - 2:30pm (hours may vary depending on workload)

Competitive Compensation Offered!

• $100,000 - 125,000/yr (Based on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Order materials
• Set up layer
• Read and understand plans
• Regularly meet with project manager to review scheduled projects
• Work with and oversee the crew
• Evaluate employee performance
• Enforce company policies
• Proactive, practical day to day problem solving
• Keep daily records
• Good communication skills

Qualifications:

• MUST have a valid driver's license (CDL a plus)
• Minimum of 5 years exp. with asphalt field/paving
• Minimum 2 years of construction supervisory exp.
• Understanding of basic math, and measuring accurately
• Understanding of different asphalt grades
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• ?Strong organizational skills
