Job Title: Machinist

Schedule: Monday – Friday (with overtime availability as needed)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Machinist with some CNC experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will primarily focus on manual machining work while also assisting with CNC equipment setup and operation when needed. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of machining practices.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate manual machine tools (lathes, mills, grinders, etc.) to produce high-quality parts to specification.

• Assist with CNC machining tasks including basic programming, setup, and operation.

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.

• Measure, inspect, and verify machined parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools.

• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and keep work area organized and safe.

• Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines.

• Troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments as needed.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of machining experience (manual machining required; CNC experience preferred).

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.

• Strong knowledge of machining practices, tools, and measuring equipment.

• Basic CNC programming and operation skills a plus.

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with both prototyping and production runs.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
