A metal protective packaging manufacturer in Bridgeview is seeking a Mill Helper for their team.

 

SHIFT: 11am-11pm, Monday-Thursday, sometimes Friday

PAY: $20.25

DUTIES:

• Mill helper in the manufacturing of steel coils assists in the loading and removal of coils with a crane.
• Visually inspects coils during the process for obvious defects or markings, not consistent with our quality objectives.
• Removal of coil tie bands and operation and use of coil lift table. 
• Operation and use of coil cones, sheet flattener, sheet feeder, ETC. 
• The ability to feed sheet into mill stand. 
• Operation and use of entry section guides. 
•  Mill helper must be aware of all Safety hazards, policies, guidelines, and procedures associated with the Mill helper position prior to training. 

REQUIREMENTS:

• prior manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs
• Able to work in a loud environment
• Must be to pass a BG and Drug test
