Position Overview:
We are seeking a versatile and proactive Human Resources Assistant to support our HR functions. The HR Assistant will handle various HR tasks, including employee relations, performance management, policy implementation, and training and development.

What You Bring:

• Minimum 1-2 years HR experience with a broad understanding of HR functions.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to develop and implement effective HR policies and programs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• A passion for creating a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
• Experience with Hawaii state and federal laws.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Partnership: Align HR strategies with business goals, consult management on HR matters, and improve performance outcomes.
• Change Management: Lead HR aspects of organizational change and support teams during transitions.
• Talent Management: Support recruitment, onboarding, retention, workforce planning, and succession planning.
• Cultural Advocacy: Promote the organization’s culture and values, foster employee engagement, and support leadership development and career growth.
• Diversity and Inclusion: Develop and implement initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace.
• Compliance Management: Ensure the organization complies with all local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations, including maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes in legislation.
