Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Located in Brighton, MI

Salary: $20-29/hr

Join a well-established manufacturer local to Howell, MI specializing in fasteners, wire-formed products, and assemblies. Expertise includes hot and cold heading, wire forming, robotic welding, threading, wire cutting, coining, piercing, and assembly.

Position Overview:
Express Employment is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform diverse maintenance tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule:

• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM. Overtime as needed (Saturdays or extended hours during the week until 12:00 AM or 1:00 AM).

Pay Rate: Up to $30/hour

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on manufacturing machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
• Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and implement effective solutions.
• Coordinate and oversee maintenance projects as required.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Adhere to and enforce safety protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in troubleshooting and repairs.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and supervisors.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
