🛠 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this role successfully, you must be able to perform the following tasks. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Read and interpret work orders and formulas to determine required materials and quantities

  • Weigh and record ingredients for production and inventory tracking

  • Use a forklift to dump product into tanks in the correct sequence

  • Process products according to company procedures and GMP standards

  • Monitor and document equipment time and temperature systems

  • Perform required quality checks and document all raw material usage

  • Fill bulk packaging or storage containers with accurate weights and labeling

  • Sort weighed materials by type or destination

  • Load tankers with processed honey and complete shipping paperwork accurately

  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work area and complete all sanitation and GMP tasks

  • Start up and shut down processing systems (boilers, compressors, etc.)

  • Communicate with other departments to ensure quality and efficiency

  • Participate in regular quality meetings

🎓 Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • 6–12 months of production experience (food industry preferred)

  • Forklift certification (current or prior)

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and cleanliness

  • Basic mechanical aptitude to operate and monitor industrial equipment

  • Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Regularly required to talk, hear, sit, stand, walk, and occasionally taste or smell

  • Frequent use of hands to handle or feel; reaching, climbing, or balancing

  • Ability to lift and move materials as needed throughout the shift
