At Express Employment Professionals, we are a leading innovator in the design, manufacture, and installation of Multi-Layer Insulation (MLI) blankets and passive thermal control components for the aerospace and cryogenic industries. Our work helps protect some of the most advanced technologies in space and cryogenic environments, supporting everything from satellites and spacecraft to cutting-edge scientific instruments.
We are expanding our team and looking for detail-oriented, hands-on Fabricators who take pride in precision craftsmanship and want to contribute to groundbreaking projects in aerospace and cryogenics.
As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for the assembly and production of high-performance MLI blankets and thermal control components. This includes working from engineering drawings, handling specialty materials, and executing delicate, high-precision fabrication processes in a cleanroom or controlled environment.
Fabricate MLI blankets and passive thermal components according to detailed work instructions and engineering drawings
Cut, layer, sew, and assemble insulation materials with high accuracy
Operate various fabrication tools including scissors, thermal cutters, punches, and sewing machines
Inspect components for quality, consistency, and adherence to specifications
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and cleanroom protocols
Collaborate with engineers and production teams to troubleshoot fabrication challenges
Document work performed, including non-conformance and process improvements
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or experience in aerospace manufacturing is a plus
1+ years of experience in fabrication, textile assembly, or similar hands-on production work
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions
Comfortable working with delicate materials in a fast-paced, precision-focused environment
Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Experience in cleanroom or controlled environments is a plus
Work on projects that support NASA, commercial space companies, and advanced cryogenic applications
