Our Ajax client, an established tire and auto service retailer within Canada, is looking for an experienced 310S Automotive Technician to join their growing team!

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and performance issues on fleet and diesel-powered vehicles
• Perform maintenance and repairs on fuel injection systems, brake systems, electronic engine controls, and engine components
• Use diagnostic tools and procedures to identify issues and ensure proper repairs
• Complete alignments, oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, and tire rotations and repairs
• Document and maintain records of all inspections and repairs
• Conduct scheduled maintenance services to optimize vehicle performance and longevity
• Work efficiently and independently while maintaining high safety and quality standards
• Stay up to date with current technology and industry best practices
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid 310S License
• Minimum of 2 years of Automotive Service Technician experience
• Must have own tools
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and repair manuals
• Valid Driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Good time management skills, self-motivated and self-directed

• Cooperative, reliable and good analytical skills
• Team player that can work under minimal supervision

Compensation and Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 8:30am to 5:00pm (overtime as needed)
• Pay Rate: $35 per hour based on experience
