Office Survey Technician

A Land Surveyor who has been involved in retail land development in the Southern California area since 1992, is looking to add an experienced Office Survey Technician to their team! They have been around since 1992 and provide surveying, mapping and 3D scanning services to their clients. If you have AutoCad Civil 3D experience-we’d love to hear from you!

Location: Santa Ana, CA

Pay Rate: $28.00-35.00/hr based on experience

Schedule: Monday-Friday

*Choose your hours! This client is flexible on the schedule: 5am-1pm, 6am-2pm, 7am-4pm, or 8am-5pm

Type of Position: Full-Time, Evaluation Hire

Responsibilities:

• Draft field survey data using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Compile and integrate various records onto survey drawings.
• Produce accurate basemaps showing the results of field surveys and record research
• Work closely with team members to ensure quality and consistency in survey deliverables.
• Interpret field data to identify and map existing utilities and other potential conflicts for construction design.

Qualifications:

• Experience in land surveying and drafting/mapping survey data.
• Ability to interpret field notes, plats, and utility records.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is essential
• Excellent data analysis skills to interpret complex information accurately.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
