Moulder Machine Operator

Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Moulder Machine Operator to set up and adjust computerized molders in our plant. The successful candidate will ensure the quality and efficiency of our molding processes while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and adjust computerized molder machines as required.

• Check stock at the beginning and during runs to ensure proper molding conditions.

• Conduct rough visual inspections of all parts and discard any defective pieces.

• Verify parts against sketches or master patterns for accuracy.

• Assist in counting parts upon completion of runs.

• Monitor the condition of knives, heads, and other molder components, performing checks as necessary.

• Transport machine knives to the filing room for storage and/or sharpening.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a moulder machine operator or in a similar role preferred.

• Knowledge of computerized molding equipment and processes.

• Strong attention to detail and quality control.

• Ability to read and interpret sketches and master patterns.

• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

• Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
