Logistics/Shipping Support

 

Location: Clifton, NJ

Pay rate: $17.00 per hour

Schedule:  Monday – Friday 7:45am - 4:30pm

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

• Efficiently and accurately pack products or parts for shipment in accordance with company standards.
• Use appropriate packaging materials to ensure products are secure and arrive undamaged.
• Label packages with necessary shipping details and documentation, including addresses, barcodes, and tracking information.
• Assist in organizing and preparing shipments based on the daily shipping schedule.
• Ensure proper handling of fragile and high-priority items to prevent damage during transportation.
• Accurately count, verify, and track parts and components used in production or shipping processes.
• Assist in maintaining an up-to-date inventory by recording parts used, received, or shipped.
• Work with the logistics team to ensure parts are properly stored and easily accessible when needed.
• Report any discrepancies in parts counts or inventory levels to the appropriate team members or supervisors.
• Assist in the tumbling and oiling processes to ensure parts are properly cleaned and treated.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in the tumbling/oiling room.
• Follow safety protocols when handling machinery and chemicals used in the tumbling and oiling processes.
• Perform basic quality control checks to ensure all shipments and parts are correct and meet company standards.

Qualifications 

• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to work with a team or individually.
• Must have 1-2 years of previous production or machine operating experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required.
