-LABOR INTENSIVE JOB!!

-MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT 60lb+ REPETETIVE AND REPAIR MANY PALLETS PER HOUR. 

 

Pay Rate: $21.00 Per Hour

Work Hours: Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm (some Saturdays when needed)

 

Job Description:

As a Pallet Repair Technician, your primary responsibility will be to inspect, repair, and refurbish pallets for reuse. You will work with a variety of tools and equipment to ensure that pallets meet safety standards and are structurally sound for transportation and storage needs.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect damaged pallets to assess repair needs and determine best repair methods

• Perform repairs using various tools such as hammers, nails, staples, and saws

• Maintain quality control standards to ensure all pallets meet industry and customer specifications

• Safely operate machinery and tools, ensuring proper handling and maintenance

• Record pallet repair data and maintain accurate records of repairs completed

• Work efficiently to meet production goals while adhering to safety and quality standards

• Assist in managing inventory of pallets and parts as needed

• Follow all company safety protocols and procedures

 

Requirements:

• Prior experience in pallet repair, woodworking, or related field is preferred but not required

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical labor

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and repair equipment

• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 65 pounds) and perform manual labor

• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team

• A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn new skills
