Are you an experienced Powder Coat Painter with a keen eye for detail and a passion for high-quality finishes? We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Powder Coat Painter to join our fabrication team. In this role, you will ensure that metal components are expertly coated to meet manufacturing standards, contributing to the quality and success of our products.
Powder Coating Operations: Efficiently operate the powder coating system, handling the full process from loading and unloading to spraying, curing, and packaging metal components.
Surface Preparation: Ensure metal surfaces are prepped properly by cleaning and removing any contaminants (dirt, grease, rust) for optimal adhesion.
Attention to Detail: Follow job instructions, technical drawings, and job travelers to ensure precise and correct powder coating application.
Quality Control: Inspect finished products for consistent, smooth, and flawless finishes, ensuring they meet strict customer specifications and manufacturing standards.
Work Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and operational standards for a productive and hazard-free environment.
Compliance: Strictly adhere to safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and the team.
Packaging: Carefully package completed parts to prevent damage during transport, ensuring all products reach customers in top condition.
Learning and Growth: Embrace opportunities to expand your skillset in managing the entire powder coating process and operating specialized machinery.
Experience: Previous experience in powder coating or a related field is highly preferred.
Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow technical drawings and verify part specifications for accurate powder coating.
Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift and move materials weighing between 50-100 lbs.
Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently, meet production deadlines, and maintain focus on quality.
Safety Awareness: A strong commitment to workplace safety standards and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
