Low Slope Roofer

Located in Fond Du Lac, WI

Salary: $18.00+ /HR

Direct Hire Opportunity! 

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm (Some overtime and weekends available depending on project and other delays)

Pay: $18.00+ /HR

Duties: 

• Install, repair, and maintain various roofing systems, including shingle, metal, tile, and flat roofs

• Demonstrate a broad knowledge of roofing applications or quickly learn and apply new techniques

• Identify and troubleshoot roofing issues with a problem-solving, can-do attitude

• Safely use ladders multiple times per day and work comfortably at heights

• Follow safety protocols and use proper fall protection equipment

• Measure, cut, and install roofing materials with precision and efficiency

• Remove old roofing materials and prepare surfaces for installation

• Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and free of hazards

• Work in various weather conditions while maintaining safety and quality standards

• Collaborate with team members and follow instructions from supervisors

• Perform other duties as assigned to complete roofing projects efficiently

Qualifications: 

• Experience: 1 year of roofing experience preferred; general construction experience (1 year) is a plus

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 80 lbs multiple times per day

• Comfortable working at heights and using ladders frequently throughout the day

• Strong work ethic with the ability to work in various weather conditions

• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

• Problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new roofing techniques

• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively

• Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
