Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a Full-Time General Labour Landscaping on behalf of our Windsor client, who is seeking responsible individuals to join their growing team. 

 

Responsibilities for Full-Time General Labour Landscaping include:

• Plant and maintain lawns, shrubs and trees on both residential and commercial sites
• Snow removal hours during winter season
• Operate and maintain a variety of equipment including back hoes, bobcats, tillers, sod cutters, weed eaters, chain saws and drills
• Interact with customers to troubleshoot and solve landscape problems
• Assist the Crew Leader in planning and organizing jobs, ensuring required materials are onsite and jobs are completed in an effective, safe and timely manner

 

Required Experience for Full-Time General Labour Landscaping includes:

• Thorough knowledge of different plant, shrub and tree varieties and standard horticultural practices i.e. planting, pruning, fertilizing, etc.
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Problem solving
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and jobs
• Ability to make decisions and work independently and within a crew environment
• Love of working outdoors is essential and the willingness to work in bad weather conditions i.e. rain, high humidity and heat and cold weather
• Can lift a minimum of 20 kilograms
• During the peak season is willing to work a six-day work week with extended hours

 

Hours and Compensation for Full-Time General Labour Landscaping include:

• Monday – Friday 7:00am – 5:00pm
• Pay Rate: $22/hour 
• Benefits after 1 year
