Position Summary

A respected, family-owned electrical contractor in the Anderson, SC area is seeking a skilled Electrician to join the team. You’ll perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems on local commercial and residential projects, including work within Anderson school district facilities. We’re looking for professionals who take pride in quality work, follow safety protocols, and deliver excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential buildings.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve electrical issues; identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
Run conduit; pull and terminate wiring for lighting, equipment, and fixtures.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
Document work performed and communicate progress/issues to supervisors and customers as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

Proven experience as an electrician with strong knowledge of commercial and/or residential wiring.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong work ethic and professionalism.
Ability to read blueprints and follow code requirements; familiarity with the NEC.
Must pass a criminal background check (required for work within school district facilities).
Comfortable with physical aspects of the role: standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working on ladders.

Schedule & Pay

Full-time, Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (no weekend work).
$26–$32/hour, based on experience. Overtime as needed.
