Salary: $90,000-$120,000 annually

Growing manufacturing company is looking for a 2nd Shift Shipping Manager 

Ideal candidate will have the ability to:

• Manage 8-10 associates
• Must hold all accountable
• Plan and coordinate daily/weekly work
• Plan/control OT as needed
• Contact trucking vendors to coordinate orders
• Ensure orders are filled efficiently and correctly.
• Provide on time delivery for customers.
• Assist in improving procedures and processes. Implement change management proposals.
• Monitor daily production process and workflow.
• Check stock inventory, highlight, and suggest order quantity of materials to avoid potential shortages.
• Forklift Certified
• Drive trucks/trailer and prepare them for morning deliveries- jockey in the yard when needed
• Handle BOL's for shipments
• Train, motivate, monitor, and evaluate performance of personnel.
• Interview and recommend applicants for hire, counsel, and discipline as necessary.
• 10+ years of experience in a similar role
